I have been with fonus for several years now, starting at the time when there was just one plan with unlimited data. At first it worked pretty well, then they changed the plan structure. I chose the 5gb high speed then unlimited throttled speed. Ever since this change I have problems every month when the plan renews. The data doesn't get reset properly and remains at 0GB. What's more, I get locked

Works great and I use it whenever I travel out of country, way cheaper than roaming rates. Have also recommended them to numerous friends and family and all are happy. Things you have to be aware of:This is a data only plan so calling is through their app which works fine. Because its a voip phone you cannot use imessage with your phone number but it will work with your email address.You may not get some text messages from banks, etc
