Sony positioned the Xperia Z5 as a refined flagship with a clean, minimalist look and practical upgrades over earlier Xperia models. It combines a metal frame with a frosted glass back, measures 146 x 72 x 7.3 mm, and weighs 154 g, giving it a slim but solid in-hand feel. The 5.2-inch Full HD display uses Sony's Triluminos and X-Reality technologies, while the hardware centres on a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 graphics, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage that can be expanded by microSD card up to 200 GB. Photography is one of its defining features, with a 23 MP rear camera using Sony's Exmor RS sensor, 0.03-second hybrid autofocus, 5x Clear Image Zoom, and 4K video recording, plus a 5 MP front camera with Full HD video. Sony also built in a fingerprint sensor on the power button, IP65 and IP68 water and dust resistance, high-resolution audio support, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi MIMO, LTE Cat 6, and a 2900 mAh battery rated for up to two days of battery life. This version uses a single Nano SIM and runs Android 6.0.
