OnePlus 15R: Full Specifications

Built around speed and stamina, the OnePlus 15R combines a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 2800 x 1272 resolution, adaptive refresh rates up to 165 Hz, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection in a substantial but clean bar-style design. Its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform is paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5X Ultra memory and fast UFS 4.1 storage in 256 GB or 512 GB versions, giving it the kind of headroom suited to demanding apps, sustained gaming, and heavy multitasking. OnePlus also equips it with a 7400 mAh battery, a notably large capacity for this class, with 55W SUPERVOOC charging and support for higher speeds with a compatible adapter. The camera setup keeps the focus on practical everyday shooting rather than excess, with a 50 MP Sony IMX906 main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32 MP front camera with autofocus. Video capture extends up to 4K at 120 fps on the rear camera. Around the rest of the device, the feature set remains modern with 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB-C, dual nano-SIM support and eSIM compatibility.

Pros

  • Exceptional Endurance: Equipped with a massive 6,500 mAh battery, it offers some of the best battery life in the high-end market.
  • Top-Tier Display: The LTPO AMOLED screen features a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate for a vibrant and smooth visual experience.
  • Efficient Charging: With 100W SUPERVOOC wired charging, the large battery can be fully powered up in a remarkably short time.

Cons

  • Still No Wireless Charging: Despite its performance, the lack of wireless charging remains a recurring compromise for the "R" series.
  • Plastic Mid-Frame: To balance costs, it uses a high-quality plastic frame instead of the premium aluminum found on the standard model.
  • Camera Processing: The image processing can be inconsistent, sometimes over-sharpening details in complex lighting conditions.
