The LG Q70 sits in LG’s upper mid-range lineup with a design that aims for a more polished feel than many everyday LTE phones from its period. Its 6.4 inch FullVision display uses a punch-hole front camera instead of a notch, giving the front a cleaner look, and the body pairs glass with a metal frame while adding IP68 water and dust resistance. LG also equipped it with a rear fingerprint sensor and a dedicated Google Assistant key, which gives the phone a distinctly practical character rather than a stripped-down budget approach. Inside, the Q70 combines a Snapdragon 675 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, plus microSD expansion for extra space. The camera setup on the manufacturer pages includes a 32 MP main rear camera with a 5 MP depth sensor and a 16 MP selfie camera, with video recording up to 4K on the rear camera and 1080p on the front. A 4,000 mAh battery, USB C fast charging support, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack round out a feature set that still feels well balanced. At about 198 g, it is not especially light, but it offers solid equipment in a sturdy full-touch format.

  • Battery: With a battery of 4000mAh, the Q70 can often last more than a day without needing a charge.

Cons

  • No 5g: Unlike the Velvet, the Q70 has no 5G functionality. Thankfully, it can still wiled 4G LTE technology seamlessly.
  • Camera: Both the rear and front-facing cameras offer decent resolution. However, they pale in comparison to cameras from other powerful Android devices.
