LG gave the G4 a distinct personality by combining flagship hardware with a more tactile, practical design. The phone uses a gently curved body with rear-mounted keys, and some versions were offered with genuine leather backs while standard models came in lighter conventional finishes. Its 5.5-inch IPS Quantum display delivers a sharp 2560 x 1440 resolution, making the panel one of the defining parts of the device. Power comes from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, plus a microSD slot for extra room. Photography was a major focus, with a 16 MP rear camera that pairs an f/1.8 lens with OIS 2.0, laser autofocus and a colour spectrum sensor, along with manual controls and RAW capture. The 8 MP front camera also supports Full HD video. A removable 3,000 mAh battery adds convenience that became rare in premium phones, and the G4 rounds things out with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, infrared and Micro USB 2.0. At about 148.9 x 76.1 mm and 155 g in the standard finish, it remains a substantial but manageable handset.
