LG gave the G3 a premium-leaning approach without making it overly bulky, pairing a large 5.5-inch display with curved lines, a slim 8.9 mm profile, and rear-mounted controls that help keep the front clean. Its IPS screen reaches a sharp 2560 x 1440 resolution at 538 ppi, which gives text, photos, and video a crisp look. Power comes from a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, and depending on the version, the phone was offered with 16 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM or 32 GB and 3 GB of RAM. microSD expansion is supported, which adds flexibility for media and files. The main camera uses a 13 MP sensor with OIS and laser autofocus, plus 4K video recording, while the 2.1 MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. A removable 3,000 mAh battery adds practicality, and the phone supports LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS and GLONASS, infrared, and microUSB 2.0.
