Huawei P20 Pro: Full Specifications

Huawei built the P20 Pro as a premium large-format handset with an emphasis on photography, and its hardware still gives it a distinctive character. The 6.1-inch OLED display uses a 1080 x 2240 resolution and sits in a sleek glass-and-metal body that weighs about 180 g, with IP67 dust and water resistance adding some everyday durability. Inside, the Kirin 970 platform is paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, delivering the smooth, polished feel associated with Huawei’s upper-tier phones of its era. Imaging is the standout feature: the rear camera system combines 40 MP, 20 MP and 8 MP sensors, while the 24 MP front camera handles selfies and video calls with higher-than-usual detail for its class. A 4000 mAh typical battery, listed as 3900 mAh rated on the official specs page, supports Huawei SuperCharge for quicker top-ups. Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, fingerprint unlocking and face unlock round out the package, and Huawei support documentation indicates the model was sold in both single-SIM and dual-SIM versions.

Pros

  • Battery: The P20 Pro boasts a whole 22 hours of battery life
  • Security: Both fingerprint and facial recognition technology are offered, allowing users to choose whichever they prefer

Cons

  • Missing features: The lack of a headphone jack and the option for wireless charging may upset certain customers, as certain modern devices come with these features.
