Huawei GR5: Full Specifications

Positioned in the mid-range, the Huawei GR5 stands out with a metal unibody design and a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution, giving it a sharper and more premium feel than many budget-oriented models from its era. It uses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, and it supports microSD expansion up to 128 GB. Huawei paired the phone with a rear fingerprint sensor and a practical three-slot layout that allows two SIM cards alongside a separate memory card, which adds useful flexibility for travel or work lines. The rear camera is a 13 MP autofocus unit capable of 1080p video, while the front camera is 5 MP for selfies and video calls. A 3000 mAh battery powers the device, and the software shipped with Android 5.1 and EMUI 3.1, with an upgrade path to Android 6.0 noted by Huawei. Other essentials include LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n on 2.4 GHz, GPS, A-GPS and GLONASS. At about 151.3 x 76.3 x 8.15 mm and 158 g, it remains a relatively slim large-screen phone with a straightforward bar form factor.
