Galaxy A03s: Full Specifications

Samsung’s Galaxy A03s is a straightforward 4G Android phone built around a large display and practical everyday features. Its 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V screen gives it a roomy front face for messaging, streaming, and casual browsing, while the textured plastic body with rounded sides keeps the handset comfortable to hold despite its larger footprint. Power comes from an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chip, paired with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB of storage depending on version, with microSD expansion available for extra space. On the back, the triple-camera setup combines a 13 MP main camera with 2 MP macro and 2 MP depth sensors, and the phone can record video at up to 1080p at 30 fps. A 5 MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The 5,000 mAh battery is one of its key strengths, giving the device the endurance expected from an entry-level Galaxy model. Other useful touches include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB-C, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS support. At 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm and 196 g, it is a substantial handset that prioritizes screen size and battery life over slimness.

Pros

  • Fingerprint scanner: Users can enjoy using the A03s' fingerprint side-mounted fingerprint scanner to unlock the device quickly.
  • Price: Canadians should only have to pay a little over $200 CAD for a brand new Galaxy A03s.

Cons

  • Charger not included: Be warned, the A03s charger does not come included in the box, and you'll have to purchase one separately.
  • Charging speed: Despite the device's huge battery, the 15W charging speed takes a while to fully charge up the A03s.
