Doro 824: Full Specifications

Rather than chasing flagship features, the Doro 824 focuses on making smartphone basics easier to manage. Its 5-inch display offers a 720 x 1280 resolution, giving it enough sharpness for calls, messages, photos and everyday apps while keeping the format compact by current standards. The phone runs Android 5.1.1 and includes 8 GB of internal storage, with support for microSD or microSDHC cards up to 32 GB for extra space. An 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera cover simple photo and video needs, and the handset supports 4G LTE along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.1. Doro also built in features that set it apart from many mainstream models, including a dedicated assistance button, compatibility with hearing aids, TTY support and the My Doro Manager system for remote help from a trusted contact. The device uses a micro-SIM card, measures 146 x 73 x 10 mm, weighs 157 g including the battery, and is powered by a 2000 mAh battery. A charging cradle mode that can act like a bedside clock or photo display adds another practical touch.
