Blackview positions the Wave 8 as a straightforward 4G Android handset focused on essential everyday use, but it arrives with a few extras that make it more flexible than a bare-bones budget model. Its 6.56-inch IPS display runs at up to 90 Hz, giving menus and scrolling a smoother feel than many entry-level phones, while the HD+ resolution keeps power demands modest. Blackview also lists DokeOS 4.0 based on Android 14, which keeps the software platform current for a basic device.
