Dishonest company

Before purchasing a phone and plan online, be very careful of the price changes right at the very end where it asks you to pay. For instance, the phone I want shows as $10 a month for 2 years. When I add any plan and click on purchase, the monthly fee for the phone now shows as $27. Very dishonest company so just double check the math before using them.

Signed up to use my cell in Scotland, I was told by five or six different clerks that I would be able to use my phone and call between Scotland and Canada and when I got to Scotla

New Customer

Just moved to Freedom because they had a great plan for Canada, US and Mexico. More GB than we need, but great value. Really appreciated the personal attention by the kiosk rep in Calgary. Simple, easy to work with and friendly. So far, so good.

Bad reception out-of-city, bad customer support

In general bad reception, almost never 5G, even around Toronto and esp outside urban centers. Customer service mostly only online (no calls) and irritating use of chatbots with often multiple choice responses only which don’t make sense. Presents itself as a fresh alternative for the big providers, but does nothing to achieve that.

Cheaper service unfortunately equals bad service

Freedom Mobile may offer cheaper prices than the big carriers, but in my experience the savings are absolutely not worth the frustration and constant headaches.The cell coverage was incredibly unreliable, even in major urban areas like Burnaby and Coquitlam. Decent setup, poor coverage and performance

I signed up since my last carrier kept hiking my bill and I was intrigued by the price freeze they promote. Where I live in rural Ontario along the 401, I get spotty coverage in my small town, very little to no 5G, and inside buildings down town I often go to SOS or no signal mode on my phone. In Toronto the coverage is great but even crossing into the US which I do frequently is just awful servic

AVOID

World-class! World-class in terrible CS. With ugly, hard-to navigate UI and a support system designed to spit in your face - not ever help you out, I can not shout loud enough for all Canadians to stay well away from Freedom. What a terrible, terrible service.

Can't beat this plan!

At Freedom I pay less than $10.00 a month for the following: Data: 15GB of 4G LTE data per 12 months.Talk: Unlimited calls & text to Canada & unlimited incoming calls.If your a lite user of data, ask for the $119.00 a year plan. It's great!

Consistent Service with Rare Issues

I have been a customer for iver ten years in this time I can count the time that i have had bad customer service when i asked to speak to a supervisor they were helpful and understood the complaint and resolved it with ease and respect i have since brought my son as well as friends I currently have no issues and i do hope it continues keep up the good work
